Check out our listings below of the most recent jobs and career opportunities at the Ministry of Justice Jamaica. The Minister of Justice is at the helm of the Ministry of Justice (MOJ), which is an integral branch of the Jamaican government. In October 2001, this department was established when the Ministry of National Security and Justice was broken up. This is not the first time in the history of the island that the Ministry has been separated from the Ministry of National Security. In fact, the pairing and unpairing of the two has occurred on numerous other occasions. The Ministry of Justice has supreme oversight of Jamaica’s entire Justice system and is therefore responsible for regulating legislation, monitoring judicial services and also offers policy and research data.
